The Josef’s Pianos difference . . .
As a dedicated family business, we have specialised in supplying new, nearly new and restored pianos for nearly 50 years. During this time, we have built up a great deal of knowledge and expertise and we have honed the highly skilled crafts of piano preparation.
We use our experience to choose our stock carefully and to help you to find the piano that suits you best. It is always fully prepared here by ourselves, sometimes even to your own preference, and we can provide regular servicing afterwards. You then know your piano is as good as it can be right from the start and for many years to come.
You are welcome to visit us…
This is the best way to choose a piano.
We like to arrange this beforehand if possible, just phone or email to book a time.
Most days available including evening and Sunday.
We are still normally open at the times shown, but please phone first to be sure we are here.
Ask our advice…
Please feel welcome to contact us for an informal chat about what you are looking for.
As a traditional family business, we can offer lots of advice. We have nearly 50 years of experience working with all levels of player, whether you are just starting out or have been playing for many years. We are here to help guide you through, so please feel free to ask our advice, just phone or email anytime.
Request our brochures…
We can easily email our photo brochures for you, which show the full range of new and used pianos that we have, along with more details about how we prepare all our pianos.
Or just let us know the make and model you are looking for and we can give you a quote and delivery time. You can then still benefit from our expert preparation of your piano as this is always included before delivery.
We look forward to hearing from you,
Chris, Jon, and Warren

Our work makes a world of difference to a piano, both to the sound and the playing. This is what we are well known for. It is just as important whether the piano is new or used, we cherish every piano.
Sadly, we do see many pianos that are poorly regulated or with obvious faults and badly out of tune. This will spoil the beauty and charm of any piano and hinder playing, so please take a look at our information pages to learn more about the difference we make.
As well as about our piano preparation, there are pages on choosing a piano, buying new or used, and lots more. We hope you find them helpful
